CALLING ALL VENDORS - APPLY NOW FOR THE 2009 SEASON

The Market is now accepting applications for vendors for the 2009 Season. Please go to the top of the page and click on the VENDOR tab. There you will find the Rules of the Market and a VENDOR APPLICATION. There are a few key points on the Vendor page that will explain the geographic range of our market and a few of our Market requirements. Please review the Rules of the Market before you apply.

New craft vendor applications should be accompanied by photos of the craft.

ALL vendors (new and returning) must submit a certification form.

CRAWFISH FRIDAY and SUMMER MARKET SCHEDULE!

   Come out June 5th for a Complimentary Crawfish Boil at 3pm! Come sample fresh, locally-grown, Louisiana Red crawfish cooked with corn, potatoes, onions, carrots, sausage and special seasoning - Louisiana Style! After you eat, shop at the Farmers Market! This Friday will kickoff our Summer Market Schedule! Not only will be be open on Saturdays; we will also be open every Friday from 3 - 6 pm.
   We need your opinion! We are conducting a survey to better understand what you are looking for at The Farmers Market. Please visit http://ceres.cals.ncsu.edu/surveybuilder/Form.cfm?testID=8049 to take the survey. We saw a 35% growth in customers in 2008! We expect this year to break our previous attendence records. The Quad County (Nash, Wilson, Edgecome, Halifax) residents are seeing more items added each year and more localvores are coming out to support the locally produced items. We are expanding the market to meet the demand for more vendor space and additional parking! Watch us begin building a new market building this spring/summer!
